you need to go to drama college or whatever you call it. And get spotted.

Hey Alysha! First welcome to the forum!!

As Liam (The Glove) said first, start with Drama School. Because it will, of course give you the basis but it doesn't limits it's self to Cinema... It also widen to theater... An actor that does theater can easily do Cinema but very rarely the other way around...

Proof? Julia Roberts... What a great movie actress but a lousy theater actress... She had a play back in 2005 that got canceled a month prior to schedule closing date... The play was Three Days of Rain, and it was scheduled for only 12 weeks...

So trust me... I know many actors here in Quebec and they all did Drama School...
